Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients
- 400 g spaghetti
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pcs onion — finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic — minced
- 1 pcs carrot — finely diced
- 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 50 g Parmesan cheese — grated
Steps
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add onion and carrot. Cook 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve sauce over drained spaghetti.
- Top with grated Parmesan.
Notes
Tastes even better the next day. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
