Classic Scrambled Eggs with Chives

Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp fresh chives — finely chopped
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 0.125 tsp black pepper
Steps
- Crack the eggs into a bowl.
- Add milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk until fully combined.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Add butter and let it melt.
- Pour in the egg mixture.
- Stir gently with a spatula, pushing eggs from edges toward the center.
- Continue cooking until softly set but still slightly creamy.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped chives.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Do not overcook — eggs continue cooking after removing from heat. Optional: add grated cheese.
